William Huntingdon is a British-born photographer and artist now living in New York, whose work blends visual poetry with symbolic storytelling. His latest series, The Ophelia's Collection, is featured in Albion to Albany, a studio showcase that marks a significant point in both his creative path and his personal journey from England to the United States.

Photographed in a flowing river, the series captures roses submerged beneath the water's surface, surrounded by ripples, shifting light, and reflections of passing clouds. Inspired by the tragic imagery of Shakespeare's Ophelia, each image explores the fragile balance between love and loss, presence and memory.

Rather than stage perfection, William allows nature to shape the narrative. He lets the river move the roses, distort the light, and speak through the water. The result is a collection that feels organic, emotional, and timeless.

Working across photography and visual art, William's practice is rooted in atmosphere, emotion, and layered symbolism. Albion to Albany introduces a body of work as thoughtful as it is visually arresting, and signals a quiet yet confident emergence into the contemporary photography space.
