Jess Keller (she/her) is the owner of JKeller Photographs, LLC and the founder of Light & Lens Studios, a community-focused creative space in Glens Falls, NY dedicated to making photography accessible to everyone, no matter their skill level. Jess strives to make Light & Lens Studios truly “Your Home for Photography,” offering everything a photographer might need—from studio and darkroom rentals, film developing and scanning, to community events, classes and private lessons, buying and selling used photo gear, photo restoration, and more.

Jess’s passion for photography began at a young age and deepened while managing Hofstra University’s photography lab during her undergraduate studies in psychology. She later earned a master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and currently works part-time as a mental health therapist specializing in the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities.

​

As an LGBTQIA+ person, Jess works to make her studio a safe and welcoming space where people can explore creativity and express themselves. Her photography is all about capturing real moments in nature and everyday life, focusing on light, movement, and emotion.

Originally from New Jersey, Jess now calls the Glens Falls area home, where she lives with her two dogs, Poppy and Olive, her cat, Gemma, and three rats, Pearl, Flint, and Onyx.
